Dozens of residents of Canada’s capital city, Ottawa Ontario and nearby Gatineau, Que., witnessed an object streak across the night sky at about 10pm local time Monday night and crash into the Ottawa River with a “thunderous boom.”
The object had lights on it and appeared to change course several times, like a small plane struggling to stay airborn, before it hit the water.
It was such a sight that emergency rescue and search crews in the area sprung into action and began searching the area using sophisticated sonars and underwater cameras to try and figure out what the object was. Even helicopters from the Canadian Forces Base (CFB) in nearby Trenton took part. On Tuesday at 1:30pm, they discovered an object about 9 meters (30 feet) below the surface, but because of currents and nearby rapids, sending divers down would be extremely dangerous since they would be instantly swept away by the currents.
The mystery? Authorities and residents have no idea what this object laying at the bottom of the river is. There are no planes missing from the area, no other aircraft like helicopters, etc. are missing. There is no debris, no oil slick and even space agencies that were contacted said nothing disappeared from orbit.
On Tuesday afternoon, Ottawa police Const. Alain Boucher said of the object they found on the riverbed:
“The size and the shape doesn’t lead us to believe it’s any piece of an airplane or fuselage or anything like that. It could be a rock, it could be a bunch of logs stuck together, it’s hard to say. No one has come forward with any kind of videos or anything like that at this time. None of the people actually reported seeing a plane go down at the same time.”
But the fact still remains - something fell into the Ottawa River Monday night that prompted a massive co-ordinated search by local authorities and the Canadian Military. They found an object below the surface and don’t know exactly what it is.
It truly is a UFO mystery at this point.

My last few articles that I have written about the fear that is felt by those who have had close encounters resulted in many emails from those who also have felt this fear and also have had encounters that they have not really talked about openly due to the ridicule and reaction of the public.
My article about the large UFO sighting by a group of men who watched it attached to a group of main electric tower lines along with a cell tower and radio tower transmitter also resulted in many emails.The emails continued with my article concerning the grid and my thoughts of what is going on with so many sightings of unknown crafts all over the world near electric wires or plants as well as other infrastructure parts of our society.
Most all the emails were positive. Many were from people telling me about their own experiences with the unknown. I also had one or two run of the mill hate emails. The hate mail is always the same and always ridiculous ranting of hatred and ignorance by those who really have no idea what they are talking about.
I think it is sad that people who are limited in thinking would rather send out short sentences of hate always misspelled instead of spending time reading and learning. It is a sad- but part of the life of all paranormal writers who try to open people’s minds to what is going on all around them. It also is something that is silly and not going to stop what we do or is given much attention or consideration. It is however a symptom of why people shy away from coming forward when they encounter the paranormal.
Who needs to listen to close-minded fools after experiencing once in a lifetime events?It is easier to just shut out the world and keep your experience close to your family and friends. I try to bridge this gap making the knowledge we do have at least available to those who wish to read about it.
I have had people send me the events that they have experienced trusting that I will protect their identities yet share what they have encountered with those who are interested in knowing what others have endured or experienced.
I want to share a few of these real people real events with you and have compiled a few of my emails as to share what other people all across the country have experienced. I understand how exhausting dealing with the limited thinkers and haters can be and fully intend to be one who will tell the stories of those who have encountered the unknown while protecting them from the ignorant and cruel.
My first email came from someone I grew up with that only recently sent me this report of what he and his family witnessed back in 1972 on the Connetiqout River on Long Island New York.
“ Back in 72 my family and I were on our cabin cruiser anchored at the mouth of the River. We would often stay the night on the boat before heading out in the morning to go fishing or dock over at Fire Island for the weekend.
This was a Friday night in August and it was like many other nights we slept over on the boat before heading out for an early morning trip. It was a beautiful clear night and my brother and I decided to sleep on the open deck in our sleeping bags instead of below.
Shortly after midnight I woke up. As I adjusted my eyes from my sleep I thought I saw a bright light skim across the boat. I got out of my sleeping bag and stood up to look around. The moment I stood up I saw it over the river hovering in the sky. I quickly bent down trying hide from view and crawled back to my brother. I woke my brother and told him to not say a word and crawl with me so we could get inside the boat and wake my parents. Slowly we made it below where we woke my mother and father whispering to them that a UFO was hovering over the river above the boat.
My father looked at us as if we were nuts but also could see how terrified we were. I told my parents you could clearly see it from the boats windows that lined our small sitting area topside. We all silently crept into this sitting area and watched staying hidden from view at the large craft hanging over the river.
The thing was about the size of a house in width but only about one story in height. It was gunmetal gray and seemed to illuminate a white glow every minute or so but mainly stayed dark which made it much harder to see in the night. When the thing glowed you could see it clearly defined. It was like a big cucumber looking thing that just hung there in the night sky. It made no noise and did not cause the water to ripple or move under it. I could not see any openings or windows at all.
The water under it began to move in small whirlpools and we heard a slight noise like a distant motor and it started to glow and rise. It just went straight up and then as it got smaller just shot off away out from the river over the bay towards the ocean. In seconds it was gone.
The next morning my parents asked a few other boats that were also spending the night if they had seen or heard anything the night before. The people all looked at us like we were crazy. That was our first taste of how you are treated when you see something and say something.
We only told the people we knew and trusted about this sighting as we quickly learned how those who have never seen anything receive this kind of thing. We heard by way of town gossip that a widow who lived alonein one of the houses along the river claimed she saw a UFO that summer also. The poor woman was made the laughing stock of the town.”
I found the above story were interesting as I grew up along that river and know this family for many years. I had no idea that this event occurred until my friend recently sent me that email. He also told me that it bothered him all these years that they never reported or talked about the event and wanted me to write about it. That is when I decided to compile his and other sightings sent to me into articles I can share with all of my readers . It is in my mind very important that these events are shared and made public. The more we know about what others have experienced the better prepared we all can be for what may one day be right in front of our own eyes.
I received this next email from a man who now lives in Europe but grew up in New Jersey. He wanted to share what happened to him in 1987 while living in New Jersey.
“Your latest article about people seeking out alien abductions is most interesting for several reasons. The first one being that me and one of my friends tried doing exactly that by driving up to High Point, NJ 22 years ago. This was, an area that was reported to have had its fair share of UFO sightings back then. I now realize the foolishness of that endeavor, and am grateful that we weren't abducted!
I've always been interested in the UFO phenomenon because I actually experienced a UFO incident when I was 9 years old back in 1977 in Garfield, NJ. It was the creepiest thing. Back then we had a backyard swing, and I was playing on it when all of a sudden I had the scary feeling that someone was watching me.
I noticed that all the usual summertime sounds had disappeared. Sensing that something was up, I stopped swinging and looked around, only to be shocked out of my mind at seeing a UFO hovering right above our garage, about 50 feet away.
The thing was as wide as the garage, about 15 feet and was shaped like a lentil, having a top and a bottom half, one of which was black, and the other silver/chrome and segmented. One of the halves was rotating but for the life of me I can't remember whether the top half was black or the bottom was, or which of the halves was rotating.
I looked at this craft for about 15 seconds before running upstairs in a panicked state to tell my parents. By the time they could look outside it was gone. I was quite shaken by this for many weeks.
I know for a fact that what I saw was real, because even at that tender age I knew the difference between an airplane and I knew what the Goodyear Blimp looked like. Years later, when I first got on the internet I started looking up UFO sightings in northern New Jersey, and lo and behold other people in the area saw the exact same craft as I did around that same time!
A couple of years before that was the famous Passaic sighting where a UFO the size of a city block hovered over the city for like an hour and was seen by soldiers, doctors, police officers, and other highly credible witnesses.
Mind you, I have no conscious recollection of any abduction event taking place I don't ever want to be hypnotized, because in the event I really was abducted, I really don't want to know.”
I have gotten other emails concerning sighting by people when they were children and realize that many of us spent so much of our time out doors as children, which of course increased our odds of having sightings. We also were more aware of our surroundings as children and were able to realize when things were different and took the time to stop and look around. As adults we seem to be lost in the daily grind of obligations and are far less in touch with our surroundings.
Another man sent me this report of a very odd event he endured as a child.
“ I had this encounter at my home in 1961. I was 7 years old.
I was in my backyard playing when an extremely bright light appeared along the fence. Out of the light a door opened and two creatures emerged.
Being 7 years old at first I thought these were power company men to fix power lines. They had on bright aluminum suits with an emblem on shoulder that was in blue of a flying snake. It was similar to a doctor’s emblem.
Communication with these beings was instant as they could read your mind and knew my thoughts. One of the beings touched me on the head and said "This ones mind is well organized."
I never forgot this incident or what that little man said. Shortly afterward I learned about the Hill's abduction and I could relate.
I think they target children due to their lack of fear and the alien's lack of fear of our children. It can go on for years with the same person I am told.”
This man never forgot what he saw that day. I received other reports very much like this one where children where approached and had communication with the beings.
The common thread I found in these reports is that the children did not remember physical talking but knew the beings were communicating with them. I also found a similar description of the beings- being of light or covered in light or looking like glowing angels. It seems as though something is brazenly approaching our children right in their own yards while they are playing without our being aware of it.
The last email I have added to this article is one that can be added to the many others that I receive or read from all over the world involving electric power plants, electric wires or blackouts.
It is obvious that there is a connection with UFO’s and our infrastructure. I know the idea is frightening to many and that this fear has been the base of a few of my hate emails. I can only say that it is best to understand what may be going on around you. Being angry when it is brought to your attention is foolish and extremely dangerous. It is far better to understand what we are dealing with then to hide or scream at those who try to open your minds to new thinking.
Many reports come from the area of our grids or our interior systems that connect us all. It is impossible to 'not' think there are reasons to justify this type of report. These sightings have been going on for as long as we have had wires and communication devices connecting our building and homes.
The following email is from a woman who gives this report that took place in Texas in 1974.
“At the time I was a teenager out in my car with a boyfriend. We were cruising around at a popular place called Mt Creek Lake in Dallas, Texas.
The area is hilly with winding roads and thick woods. There’s an electrical plant located there alongside the lake.
It was a late summer weeknight and we were about the only ones out there. The year was 1974 and it was evening in late Aug or early Sept. I was planning on ending my relationship with this boyfriend and was riding around looking for a good spot for us to sit and talk. I think we both had the same idea that night. While on our way to a good spot we literally were almost run off the narrow road by a car speeding out of the area.
Dirt and road rocks hit my car. Being a new driver I was really shaken up by this and pulled over immediately into the first lit up area which was the amber tone lights of the electric power plants parking area.. The amber lights made things surreal. I’d never been to this location before or this part of the lake before.
As we looked around the lake we both had the shock of our lives- as there it was.
Right there in front of us was this huge craft hovering no more than 3 ft above the lake water next to the plant. The plant appeared closed as it only had on what looked like night-lights on. I’ll never forget the plant had a 2nd story picture window. I could see the plant was dimly lit inside.I was amazed that not a soul was looking out that window. They would have had an extra close and perfect view of the huge dull metal color, no windows, and no doors, UFO.
It was perfectly still and no more than 3 ft above the water with nothing between it and water. It had great height to it and it was round. We could not see all around it because of its size. It was round in shape, like a big dome shape. It was kind of plain looking. It was just hanging there still over the lake above the water. It was a dull metal color This UFO was the size of a 2-story house. It had to have at least 2 levels to it. It was so low I couldn’t see the flat bottom side of it.
It was running because it had lights operating. I remember the eerie white lights mostly but I do also think I remember seeing blue and red ones too.
After about a minute’s time we spoke to each other. What is that, not a plane, not the shape of a blimp, not any flying thing I’ve ever seen, it must be a UFO.
How is that huge thing staying above water and not moving? It’s quiet but it’s running, those lights are like search lights, what’s behind those lights? There’s a strange low operating sound to those lights, look there’s no doors, hey there’s no writing on it either, what is it then?There are no windows; it’s definitely a UFO.
It must be getting it’s energy from the electric currants under water, maybe it’s gassing up, can something see us behind those lights hitting us (intermittently)?
The lights are frightening- do they see us? What the hell’s inside it? The car that went speeding by us must have seen it too. If this were supposed to be here somebody would be in the bldg looking out.
We started to get really scared. I felt as if they were watching us. We are really scared. We did the very same thing the other car did and got out of there as fast as possible.
We might have been there 5 minutes…couldn’t say for sure. The parts I remember seem like that amount of time. It could have been longer. We both just wanted to get back to safety as fast as possible. I remember my boyfriend being very anxious to get to his home showing me shortcuts to his house. He was not the type to act that way.
When I got home I told my mother and it seemed like she believed me somewhat. She vaguely does remember me telling her about the incident today. I never saw the boyfriend again to discuss it. I didn’t have to break up with him. I guess a lot was said without saying it. After all who would have ever believed us? In fact I pretty much went on about my life and kept this to myself until much later in my life. I hear others do the same.”
I found this email to be an excellent report of a sighting near an electric plant that fits in with so many other reports out there. Many people are seeing huge crafts silently hovering over electric plants, power plants and other sources of infrastructure areas. They also go hand in hand with black outs and drone sightings above our electric lines. How can so many people be seeing such similar things yet no one seems to be aware of it?
I will leave you with these emails to decide if you think we all need to pay far more attention to what is taking place right under our noses all over this country, all over this globe- without our being aware of it.

Referred to as the CAT-BOY, Nong Youhui from southern China has confounded scientists with his bizarre ability to see in pitch-blackness with his blue eyes that actually glow in the dark!
Having bright blue eyes in China is certainly weird enough, but Nong Youhui’s dad, Ling, was always concerned and feared they signified something deep and dark that he did not understand.
“They told me he would grow out of it and that his eyes would stop glowing and turn black like most Chinese people but they never did,” said Ling.
The boy has been subjected to a battery of medical tests, all of which were conducted in abject darkness and results have indicated that he does indeed have the ability to read perfectly in the dark and see as clearly as most people do during the day.
Experts believe the boy was born with a chronic condition known as leukodermia (also called Vitiligo), which is characterized by spots or bands of unpigmented skin. The precise cause of leukodermia is very complex and not fully understood. It is known that as a result of this auto-immune disorder, eyes are more sensitive to light and without as much protective pigment as would be found in normal eyes.
If this bizarre anomaly causes those afflicted to have vision similar to that attributed to felines, does it then raise some uncomfortable questions about evolution and exactly where human beings fit into the process? Are we still under construction, so to speak?
John Hubert, a member of the board of directors of the High Plains Historical Society, inspects a glob of green glass that fellow board member and McCook historian Walt Sehnert believes could have been created during a "UFO landing" northwest of Benkelman in 1884. Sehnert said descriptions of the glass glob include "lime jello with cottage cheese." Others describe it as "end-of-the-day" glass in the manufacture of Coca-Cola 7-Up bottles. A summer visitor to the museum, Robert Golka of Massachusetts, is requesting that the museum and the DAR (which owns the piece of glass on display at the museum) be analyzed by the Corning Glass Institute.
When thinking of UFOs I think the most famous event that comes to most peoples minds is that of the Roswell crash In Roswell New Mexico in 1947. The Roswell New Mexico Story. Is also the time period that people think of as the beginning of the United States involvement with alien visitors.
As new information becomes available it is becoming apparent that our being involved with our cosmic visitors seems to be much older then we first thought.
Eileen and Ceil Gramley who are now both senior citizens tell a story concerning their father Reverend Turner Hamilton Holt. He told each daughter this story only once explaining to them that he was doing so as he felt others needed to know about it.
I applaud these women for having the good sense and bravery to come forth with this information. We would all be far better informed if there were more people in the world like them.
I have often wondered why information of this magnitude has always been hidden from he public Is it poor human judgment or something much bigger.Who knows? We as a species have the right to know what is going on with our world and we have the right to know who or what is visiting our world. We are at a point now in our history where I feel the disclosure of such information would be accepted without great consequence. It will take someone of conscience and moral fiber to tell us finally that we are not alone.
Maybe one of you has a family member that has knowledge of this subject?Nothing is to be gained by secrecy. Tell them to tell someone about it to get that truth out to the world.
Residents of Xochitepec were treated to the sight of a "ball of fire" over Avenida Aeropuerto in the Miguel Hidalgo section of town. The witnesses fixed their eyes on a brilliant object in the sky for five minutes, before the sighting ended in a lightning-like flash and disappeared.
The unidentified object's presence drew the attention of many: some took out their camcorders, others photographed the "ball of fire" that seemed to fall very slowly from the heavens under clear skies.
Some claimed having heard a buzzing sound, stating unequivocally that it was not an airplane or anything known. Furthermore, its descent was slow and perpendicular. Several minutes into the sighting, people were shocked to see the object fire a bright light, resembling a beam or a bolt of lightning.
After this, the object commenced its slow ascent until it vanished from sight. Whatever it was, it certainly captivated the locals. Some were astonished and others frightened; there were even those who spoke of the object as "an ill omen" signaling the arrival of plagues and diseases. They do not think that it was a meteorite, as these fall in seconds and are high in the sky -- but this object was at the same height as the clouds, of which there were none at the time.
The Russian navy has declassified its records of encounters with unidentified objects technologically surpassing anything humanity ever built, reports Svobodnaya Pressa news website.
The records dating back to soviet times were compiled by a special navy group collecting reports of unexplained incidents delivered by submarines and military ships. The group was headed by deputy Navy commander Admiral Nikolay Smirnov, and the documents reveal numerous cases of possible UFO encounters, the website says.
Vladimir Azhazha, former navy officer and a famous Russian UFO researcher, says the materials are of great value.
I was looking at birthday cards in a party store today when I came upon a young woman maybe 20 who was standing in the middle of the aisle blocking the way with her cell phone stuck to her ear.
She was frozen staring straight ahead as if in a trance. This young woman was completely unaware of the world around her. I asked her twice to let me pass. When I got no response I gently nudged her out of the way. She was not aware of my presence at all.
I see it all the time with cell phones -people driving, walking, shopping lost to real time while engaged in a second reality in cell phone land. People are becoming completely removed from the reality in front of them be it the road while driving or the children who sit ignored while with them, basically to all that is happening around them becomes second to the device stuck to their face. I have to wonder if that is normal behavior or something that we have been trained to do?
I watch as people are walking together with one or both on cell phones talking to other people while ignoring the person they are walking with. It is as if we are losing our ability to have one on one contact while becoming controlled by our technology.
I thought about how big screen TVs and computers have become the way of life across the world for many people. We do not sit as a family that often any more. We seem to section away from each other starring at TV screens or sit in front of computers instead of getting together in real time with real people for real interaction We are becoming lost to new realities all which remove us from each other by placing gadgets between us.
I have not been able to stop thinking about this since I wrote my article on the UFO seen by the group of hunters over the field where high tension wires, cell phone towers and a radio transmitter tower are all located in one large field.
In that article I talk about the group of men who late one night walked into this field and found a huge UFO hovering over this entire field with a laser type ray connected into the wires and towers. The men first thought that the craft was fueling or feeding. After talking to people I know who work in science about this incident it was suggested that it was far more likely that the craft was downloading data into the wires as well as collecting data out of them. The idea that something alien was feeding us data by downloading into our systems really frightened me.
Realizing that every home, business, school, every building is in one way or another hooked into our grid made me cringe at the idea of aliens also hooked into our lives by way of infrastructure. It made me realize how easily it would be to download control over our thinking once they had access to us by way of our technology. Not only could we have data placed into our ears, eyes and minds they also could collect what we watch, listen to, talk about or do on our computers. The idea gave me a shiver down my back that I still am not able to shake off
Watching the young woman in the store today made me wonder how much of our behavior may be controlled or modified by whatever and who ever was interfering with that field of wires and towers that night the hunters spotted that huge UFO craft?
If they are downloading data into our communication systems our homes -you have to wonder why and what they are trying to do? The idea of how serious this could be hit me while watching this young woman lost from reality while standing in a crowded store with her cell phone held to her head. She was in another reality of ‘cell phone land’ completely unaware of the real time people living another reality all around her. We see this happening every day yet we all seem to not notice what is going on at the same time. What is going on with all of us and this era of technology? Are we losing our way or worse giving our will over to something or someone else without any realization of it?
I thought about it all that day and started to really look at the people around me, I watched as people walked right out from stores or sidewalks into the street - like robots all with cell phones held to their heads. I paid attention to the routines of those I know and love and realized that the TV or computer was always on in every home. I realized how many of us watch TV while eating our meals instead of talking to one another. I watched as young people went from cell phone to computer to TV never off the grid for more then a few hours each day.
I thought about this and clearly saw how each and everyone of us have become part of this huge communication system I will call THE GRID and truly do give our selves over to whatever is coming to us by way of the wire and wireless communication systems we have become both addicted and trained to use.
I think about how many hours we spend each day watching TV, talking on our phones either land line or cell, surfing the net or chatting on line. Think about your day and how many hours you spend hooked to THE GRID. Be honest about the amount of time you have allowed yourself to be connected to that grid and how easily you may have been programmed or influenced by what ever that huge craft was and what it downloaded into our systems.
I thought about that article and the emails I received from the power company employees and a electrical engineer who told me they also had experiences with strange situations where odd things were seen, blackouts took place yet they were never able to explain what happened.
I thought about how many times over the years I read about UFO sightings and blackouts happening at the same time. I thought about how the hunters who saw that huge craft that night connected to the wires told me that the ship was dark, there were not lights on it, and unless you were close or under it you may not notice it at all against the night sky. I wondered how many ships in wooded areas are connecting to our infrastructure while downloading or collecting data all right under our noses?
It seems we are becoming robot like cold people who are losing the ability to communicate one to one without a device that is hooked into the grid. We are becoming divided by the modern day conveniences we purchase to make our lives easier and to entertain us. Instead we may be bringing into our homes cars and lives the very devices used to control us.
Knowledge is key in life. The more you know the more you can succeed in life be it in your career or with your family and friends. The more you understand in life the better you will be able to defend against things that may harm you. I think we need to look at this situation with a great deal more thought and care then we have so far. I fear we may be walking our selves off a cliff with our own gadgets and devices.
I now know that unknown crafts have been seen hooked into our infrastructure grids. I have had the most intelligent people I could find explain it was most likely to download into while collecting our information from that gird. I know we all sit in front of the devices that could carry what is being downloaded into our grids for hours each day. I believe we need to heed this knowledge and be aware of our actions and turn off our cell phones, limit our TV viewing and not sit in front of our computers for hours each and every day.
I wonder if we did change our behaviors if we would also start to change our view of things going on around us? I think we may begin to re unite with those around us. I think we are allowing things to happen to us that are dangerous yet easily fixed
I have turned off my cell phone and only use it for quick calls. I now visit those I want to talk to in real time. I only watch TV for a set time each day and I limit my computer use to work and research then I turn it off. I read constantly and have started to print out what I wish to read on the internet rather then sit in front of the active screen hooked into the system. I try hard to remove myself from the grid. I realize I must do this in order to keep my mind clear and my spirit actively connected in real time to those around me.
I think the worse thing we can do knowing this to be a possible dangerous habit is to turn on our computers while watching TV with our cell phones turned on and our minds turned off. What a perfect opportunity to brainwash, program and gather us in group into non thinking numb beings easily controlled and lacking in the art of exchange on a human to human one on one basis. As it now stands it will not be long before we are unable to communicate without something non-human hooked to us or between us.
Think about who you may really be dealing with, listening to , attaching to your brain and body -as well as bringing into your home the next time you turn on all your gadgets and entertainment devices and sit mindlessly in front of them. Do you really want to offer your body and soul up for the taking so easily? I say turn off from THE GRID and become completely human again.
We are new to all this modern technology, Mankind seems to be racing forward with this new world of communication and tech machinery however I do not think we as a species are really ready or evolving as fast as our machines are being produced in this new tech world.
I certainly do not think we are safe guarded against who else or what else can be locking into our new abilities. We are not sure who also is hooked into our technology or for what purposes. I think we need to stand back and take a second look at where we are going and how we are doing it.
It is never wise to jump off a cliff into dark water. Until we better understand what we are doing and who and what is hooking into our grids we need to handle it all with a bit more caution and care.
For now I limit my use of all of these things and have started to talk to those around me making eye contact and listening to what they are saying to me.
What a wonderful world it would be if we all turned off our devices and got back to the practice of humans living and thinking on our own together without a machine between us. Especially when we have unwanted visitors listening in!
I have a life long friend I have known since I am 6 years old. He remains my friend to this day. He is a great guy who is a levelheaded family man with lots of friends who is well liked in his community here on Long Island New York.
I noticed that my friend would always make it a point to ask about what I was writing or investigating and always listened with care. He never showed any interest in the paranormal before yet now always showed interest in my work. I never thought much about it until recently.
My friend called me and insisted we meet for lunch to ‘catch up’. Again I did not think much about it as we have been friends for a lifetime and shared many lunches. During lunch my friend asked me three times about the stories and articles on my site. I was a bit surprised, as I did not realize he was a loyal reader. We talked about a few of my UFO stories while we ate our lunches.
With lunchtime over we headed for the parking lot where my friend took me by the arm and said “ Wait Chris- I have something I want to tell you, something I never talked about before with anyone.” I thought my friend was having some type of life problem and we walked down the street until we found a private empty bench to sit so he could tell me what was wrong.
I plopped myself down next to him on the bench and said, “So, what is this all about?” He looked at me so seriously I immediately knew this was something very important and turned my mood to fit his and said” Oh, this is serious, I am here and all ears, tell me what is wrong?”
My old friend then told me what I consider to be one of the biggest and most important sighting encounters I have ever heard. Clearly this is a huge story for the area where I live and this friend the last person on earth I would have ever thought would tell it to me!
The encounter happened while my friend and two of his friends were setting up for a hunting trip located towards the end of Long Island. It was a habit for this group of men to drop off supplies and items they did not want to carry all day at points they used to rest and eat while off on one of these pre-planned days in the woods trapping and hunting. A few men would set up for the day before the day’s events started. This is what he told me, while sitting on that bench:
“It was years ago, about 1995. I was out setting up for a big hunt we were going to have with a group of guys early that day. It was me and two buddies of mine. We went out about 2 in the morning to drop off traps and other things we were going to use during the days hunting trip. We arranged to have about four other men meet us out further on the Island (east end of Long Island) about 4 a.m. We were going to set up some stuff as we planned to end up at this point where we were leaving stuff in the woods. My one buddy was a retired phone man and knew the right of ways used by the utility companies and had a good sense of the woods in the area where we were dumping our supplies for the day.
It was a crystal clear fall night. There was a small community of houses to the left of the road we parked our pickups and a huge wooded area following the electric main towers through the woods on the right. All and all the area, but for that small group of houses, was pretty isolated. We all had hunted in this area before and were familiar with it.
The three of us packed up the gear we needed to carry out to our meeting point later that day and started our trek following the right of way out into the woods. We were taking it slow as it was night but we felt secure as we had a bright moon and a star lit sky. Just before we headed out my one buddy pointed over to the group of houses and pointed to the street lights and lights in some of the houses. We all looked, as they seemed to dim out and then come back and dim out again. We hoped they would not blackout, as we would then be joined with a bunch of electric company guys out in the woods, as there was a large transformer station out there. We knew if they showed up we would have to leave.
We stood for a while watching the lights flicker on and off. They seemed to do this every few seconds. We decided to high tail it out to our planned spot and try to get there and back before the electric company came around so our plans to meet the other guys would not be ruined. We packed up the rest of our gear and took off down the right of way along the side of the high-voltage electric wire towers.
We were about half way to our destiny out in the woods when we approached a intersection ahead of us of the transformer big electric company towers, a huge radio station tower and a high cell tower all in one group.
As we approached this area my buddy that worked for the telephone company pointed up towards the top branches of the trees ahead and said – what the heck is that? We all looked and saw what looked like a pencil thin laser blue like light shinning along the tree line. At first we thought it was from the poles, tress, or maybe the wires or transformer. I told my buddies that must be what is going on with the flickering lights back there by the houses.
We kept walking towards the center of the grouping of towers until we could see clear of the trees. The three of us saw it all at once. We all stopped walking at once, as if we practiced stopping like that for weeks, it was so exact and on the spot. We stopped all together lined up shoulder to shoulder and saw what we could not believe we were seeing.
Ahead of us over the group of towers, we could see the laser light was coming straight down from the sky. We followed the light up and could clearly see a huge black round saucer shaped craft hovering silently over the towers. The thin light attached to the wires and pole. There was no sound no movement just this light drinking or doing something with the towers and wires. The thing was huge as when you looked up at it the entire sky was blocked out but for the massive shape of the craft. Around the borders of the craft you could see the night with all its stars and moonshine, however this massive black ship blocked out an enormous area while it sucked from the wires with its long thin light.
Not one of us moved. We did not speak or dare to blink. Finally one of us, I think it was me, slowly turned and motioned to my buddies to be quiet and slowly back track exactly the way we came in. We slowly and carefully moved away from this huge craft until we were far enough from it to feel we could run. We made it back to our trucks to see the lights in the adjacent neighborhood still flickering and blacking out. As we packed up our gear to leave we saw a huge glow and at once the houses and streetlights were back to full power. We knew the thing had finished its meal or whatever it was doing!
We drove to an all night diner to discuss what happened to us over a hot cup of coffee. I wanted to call the police and report it. My one buddy did not know what he wanted to do but the other guy; he was just plain terrified and wanted us to swear we would never tell anyone what we had just seen. The more we discussed it the more terrified he seemed to get. This guy was an old buddy of mine so I relented and agreed to keep silent about it.
The years went by and it always bothered me I never talked about this. I knew we had seen something incredible. I kept my word thou and never talked about it as I had promised my pal.
A few years ago I heard my friend had passed away. About a year after that I ran into the other man I shared this experience with. I told him I had enough silence and was going to tell you about it. And today I decided it was time to do it, and so here we sit on this bench with my gabbing my guts out.”
I had not said one word during the entire story my friend had just told me. I knew he had just told me one of the greatest UFO experiences I had ever heard. He witnessed a craft using our power system and lived to tell about it. I reached over and touched his arm and told him it was a fantastic sighting and encounter and that I knew every word was true. I could not believe he walked around all this time and never told anyone of that night. My friend is such a loyal man. The fact he had such an incredible encounter did not shake his oath to his friend. He did not talk of it until his pal had passed on. He kept his word.
I was really fascinated by this and thought back to how many other times we had unexplained black outs, brown outs and flickering lights. I also realized that this craft went dark, no lights as it lowered itself to feed or do its deed off of the wires. I wondered how many times crafts like this are right above our heads with out our even realizing it?
I was confused as to what the UFO was doing as it linked into the grove of wires and towers out in the hidden woods. At first I thought it might have been drawing from the lines in a feeding fashion. I thought this rather odd as I would think our energy abilities would be very primitive to a society who was able to visit us from places we do not even know exist. I did not know what to make of this sighting and decided to make plans to talk with a few friends that work in science and tell them about this encounter.
I called the smartest people I have ever known for advice on this encounter. The first person I talked to is a man who is brilliant physicist. I told him word for word what my friend had told me. He sat and looked at me a while before answering. He then told me what almost what the others told me as well. Besides this friend I also contacted two geniuses I know. One is a scientist and the other an International Business person. Both are considered geniuses of our time who I have been blessed to call my friends.
I was fascinated and stunned to be told by all three the same thing! None of the men thought this craft was feeding at all. In fact they all felt that this craft was putting IN data- not taking anything out! All of them also added in a matter of fact way that “of course they were also taking all the data that was being transmitted out through the lines as well”.
I was both frightened and stunned at what I was being told. The paramount understanding of what I was being told really knocked me for a loop! Had my friend witnessed not only a craft not from our earth downloading material into the very lifelines of our society while uploading all our private personal information? Was what we talked about, looked at on our computers and viewed on our TV’s be collected while information they wanted in those same places was being transmitted in? The idea of this really shook me to my very soul!
I was told that it most likely a case of catching the UFO placing in data that could and would be easily transmitted into the lines cables and communication systems found at that location. The question is what type of data where they feeding into our lives? My one friend the physicist told me he thought it possible that we were being feed messages of some type of control or illusion via the wires into our televisions, computers, even phone and radios that are in every home in America, and in fact most homes on the entire worlds surface. It certainly gave new meaning to the term boob tubes for our televisions! He also mentioned that he noticed many cases of blackouts and power failures associated with sightings as a constant all over the world. He felt that they may over work our tired infrastructures while downloading the data they want to spread among us causing these reoccurring outages.
My one friend added as we parted “ I think you walked into something very big with this one dear. I think those men walked into one of the biggest stories going and one that has most likely been going on since we primitive beings invented the wires that hook into each and every home office and building on earth!” I must say I found this stunning and terrifying. Might we all be being feed daily doses of whatever aliens wish to interject into our lives via our wires and communication and entertainment devices?
It would certainly give us something to consider in a society that so many label as sheepal and controlled by the media. How horrifying to think we may be dosed with messages or be monitored by other beings while sitting in the safety of our own homes, or we thought were safe!
One of the men I spoke to mentioned that he considered the three men who experienced this event to be very lucky. He mentioned events like that of the Canadian Wilderness Story when what appeared to be an Alien creature seemed to be watching the man who owned the land where a light craft was seen. As that man took a photo of the craft a creature was noticed at the tree line holding what looked to be some kind of weapon.
It is felt that the three men who witnessed this encounter with the towers and wires were very lucky they had not been detected by those piloting that craft, as if they had been seen they may have never made it back out of those woods! I also agree my good friend had a very close very dangerous encounter that night.
I am not sure what took place that night or what that UFO was doing with its beam into that grove of wires, cell tower and radio transmitting location. I do know it was done in the woods, in the middle of the night, and for sure not a good thing for the people of Long Island.
All I can do is thank my friend for telling us all this extreme experience. I for one will increase my awareness of the night and what is around, above and over me. I also want to remind my readers that my friend did the things that may have saved him and his friends lives. They slowly without drawing attention removed themselves from the area as fast as they could without being seen. They then got far away from the area and to an area with people and lights. Remember that safety is the first rule when dealing with a sighting or any paranormal event.
I think my friend had an extremely amazing experience in the woods that night. I will never forget what he has told me. I thank him for allowing me to be the one to tell his story. I think this story strongly enforces the fact that we are not alone out there!
The triangle-shaped UFO reports are back in the news with four reports in four states today, according to witness testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.
Triangles took a back seat recently with the tremendous July reports across the country of Orange Lights, and most recently a run on Bright Lights moving in seemingly controlled manners across our air space.
While not all reports have been tallied, the UFO Traffic Report covered 32 triangle cases in April and 25 in May. The triangle reports then seemed to drop off sometime in June, and were replaced by many of the Orange Light cases in July. These numbers are not scientific and may not reflect current trends, but are based solely on what was covered on these pages through reports from the MUFON database..

In separate conversations with the researchers during the expedition into the Tunguska epicenter, they all shared the same idea that the mystery will never be solved because scientists with their own theories and hypotheses will never agree on one single explanation. In regard to this, Romeiko said: “No one will back down on a theory that he has defended his entire life because that would mean failure.”
Although the researchers returned without any substantial explanations for the event, they plan on returning to Tunguska to continue their research and prove their theories. Serra said there would be interest in the Tunguska Event far into the future, because the best scientists from around the world have been there and no one has come up with an explanation, which scientists simply cannot accept.
When the Italian and American research group left the epicenter, a new group of Russian “scientists” arrived. One of the group members said that she had worked with a psychic to identify which swamp a UFO had collided into in 1908.
Upon returning to the town of Vanavara, some 65 kilometers to the South of the epicenter, the Tunguska Reserve director, Ludmila Logunova, said that they know where the meteorite is located, but if they reveal its location, people would stop visiting the region.

OH, July 19, 2009 - 12 total "starlike" moving objects very high in sky, some fading/disappearing, some getting much brighter at times. MUFON Case # 18223.
Four Ohio witnesses report seeing "12 objects that appear to be moving stars from one horizon to another." The silent objects were seen fading and then illuminating again. And one common report I have been reading the past few months, as these witnesses say - "I've been watching the sky my whole life and I can now see these objects seemingly at will the last few months." It may be that our communications are simply better now - with web access - but there are many similar reports that people are reporting anomalous objects from the same location or region over time now.
OR, July 22, 2009 - A small obgect, possibly disc or oval shaped, flashing diffrent colors, moved around slightly. MUFON Case # 18228.
This Oregon witness noticed, among the stars, a "flashing object" that was bigger than a star. The witness photographed the object for 40 minutes as "it moved about the area over the building out my window." It first moved diagonally towards the ground, then moved up toward the east and eventually moved out of view.
MI, July 11, 2009 - Silver boomerang shaped one bright light a the point of bomerang light dies down and object shor though the sky. MUFON Case # 18232.
A Michigan witness grilling and having a late dinner outside noticed a light too bright to be a star and too large to be a helicopter. The witness estimates that the object was just 500 feet in the air. But then the light went out and was replaced with a dimmer green light. It then moved across the sky "extremely faster than anything I have ever seen."
MI, July 19, 2009 - Looked like very bright shooting star, then dropped straight down, got really really bright, then changed back to original direction. MUFON Case # 18231.
Four Michigan witnesses at Camp Grayling watched what they first thought was a shooting star in the sky. "The light was solid, not blinking. There was no engine noise. No sonic boom. No noise at all. The light was initially traveling along the horizon in the East sky heading North. It dropped 90 degrees, and got very bright. It appeared to be headed right for us." The object seemed to change course, but then moved back to its original course. Just a few minutes later, the object came back from the west heading east-north-east. It was just as bright, but now was moving slower. "It appeared to be wobbling slightly side to side."

This report is typical of so many - the reported object looks like any other star - except that it's moving across the sky at a high rate of speed. Two witnesses in Julian watched the object for 2 to 3 minutes. They're interested in hearing from anyone else in their area who might of seen it, or if anyone is aware of UFO sightings in their area in general.

A Colorado witness out taking scenery photos northwest of Ft. Collins and just west of Belvue noticed an anomaly in the image once it was on the computer.

The photographer said he "zoomed in and noticed a black oval." He's dismissed it as being either a bird or a plane - and I'm afraid the blow-up version here may not help solve the case - but readers - voice your opinion.
I write and investigate to the best of my ability about encounters of the unknown. Over the years I have talked to many who have had abductions or lost time events involving beings that were not human- taking humans.
Many of the experiences of abduction or lost time I have written about. Other events I have listened to but did not feel inspired to write about. I do believe most people I talk to yet also feel many are not as truthful as I had hoped they would be.
It is a difficult position to be in when dealing with paranormal subjects. I try to write about events that seem to be truthful and that did actually happen. I rely on logic and years of experience interviewing people as well as my own personal knowledge of some of the subjects I write about. I try hard to avoid attention seekers and agenda folks to the best of my ability.
Like any job skill you learn with practice how to do it well as you tackle and work your way along all the unknown paths. In time you develop a second sense about the people you talk to and let that guide your judgment.I feel after years of doing this that I have developed a second sense of things and know rather quickly who is telling me an experience that they truly encountered and who is making it up as they go.
I am sure there are many reasons why people do the things they do. My interest however is to bring real experiences of real people to the public in hope paths already walked may one day help those who may have similar roads of lost time or abduction ahead of them. It is far better to have knowledge of things unknown rather then walking blindly into them. Reading what others have experienced may one day help someone survive their own encounter with the unknown.
I know for a fact that the ordeals of others that I have written about have prevented people from making errors that could have had life of death consequences if they had not been prepared by something they had read that lingered in the back of their minds.
Recently I had a young man tell me that while on a hiking trip he and his friends noticed a strange object hovering over the lake where they were walking.
His friends wanted to try to find a way to get closer to the craft so they could try to call out to it.He was able to talk his friends into returning to a nearby cabin with lights and other people near by. He told me that he read one of my articles and knew they would be far better off finding other people and shelter and understood that calling out and offering them selves to the unknown was not a good idea at all. I think this mans use of the knowledge he had tucked in the back of his mind may have saved him and his friends from a possible abduction experience.
I cringe each time I read or hear about people who go out to deserted areas in order to try to draw unknown crafts and beings to their location. I can only shake my head as I listen to ideas of using laser lights, radio signals and even camp fires and smoke signals to try to draw the creatures of the unknown to their location. I can only wonder what these people are thinking?
I am curious how they know they will catch the attention of kind benevolent beings? I am far more curious why they think they would be chosen to be contacted when it is obvious our visitors take extreme caution and care in who sees them and whom they take? I also wonder how they would feel if emotionless beings who care little about the human race arrived, took them and what they wanted from their bodies and discarded them once done like worms or rats? I wonder why they do not think out these things? Do they really think that this type of careless action could not bring them harm? Are these people living under some ridiculous notion that nothing bad will ever happen to them?Theses reckless dangerous behaviors have always been a mystery to me.
My reasoning for feeling as I do about this comes from my understanding of‘The Fear’. The fear is the key that makes me pay close attention to those I talk to who claim they have had a close encounter with other beings. When I see or hear this fear that I have come to know so well, I usually believe whom I am talking to.
There is fear that is so horrid you feel you will not be able to survive it. This fear is a heart stopping paralyzing sense so strong you are certain it will kill you. It is of absolute horror- a feel of fright that is like no other. It is a fear that life has stopped as you have known it and something else deadly and sick now replaces it.
This devastating fear is what a human being feels when face to face with a situation they do not think they will live through. It is a feeling that locks your senses and over takes your body with such power you do not think you will live another second. This over powering gut retching fear is what is felt when your are alone looking into the non-human face of a creature you have never seen before. This is what is felt when you have lost control of your surroundings and find yourself being completely controlled by others.This fear is what you feel when your destiny is in the hands of a being that is alien and cold and you find you are powerless and without choice to do anything about it. This fear is what those who are taken against their will feel when abducted by beings that are not human and are not asking but taking you without your consent. This fear is why I find those who go looking for aliens with flashlights and cameras extremely foolish and child like in their thinking.
I have been told by a few that they have had wonderful adventures and loved their abduction of being taken by aliens. I find it hard to believe anyone would love to be taken against his or her will under any circumstance. I have never heard of anyone being asked if they wish to be taken, examined or questioned. I have only been told of those who have been taken- against their will. That one fact seems to be the main truth of the alien abduction agenda- they take us without permission.
Be it a child, teen, adult or senior citizenif they want you they simply take you. I do not find that friendly or fun.
It would be far too harsh for me to say I do not believe the claims of those who talk about being taken by lovely beings who fly them about the universe in scenic flights while sharing a lovely chat about the meaning of life. I will say I personally do not find any interest in this type of report. I am far more involved and drawn to the less fabulous but far more realistic reports that have common threads that run from report to report.
The common threads I do find in those I feel have had alien abductions include:
.
1. Being taken against their will
2. Not recalling much or any of the events however do suffer from hellish flash backs of things they do not understand
3.Suffer the incredible fear when encountering a partial memory or flash back.
4. Are fearful this will happen to them again
5. Many felt ill after the event and repot having rashes, sick to their stomachs or have strange bruises or body changes that can last for years if not a life time.
There are exceptions with alien contact that take place when humans encounter the human like aliens that also visit this planet. I understand people who have had face-to-face encounters with beings that fit in with our concept of humanoid looking creatures have a far less traumatic close encounter.
When confronted with a being that looks similar to a human and who is able to communicate with humans in familiar ways the initial over whelming fear is far easier to handle.I have spoken with those who have had dealings with this human type of being. They told me they were of course cautious knowing they were in contact with a creature that was not human but did not have that deadly fear of those who encounter the other forms of aliens. As comfortable as they may be with this type of visitor it is always clear they are having an encounter with a non human being and caution remains paramount in their dealings.
It is clear that those chosen to have contact with the human type of alien also have returned with nearly the same exact message from our visitors to mankind. . These people do not know each other and come from many different walks of life yet they all have been told to try to get our fellow earthlings to listen to reason and to start being better beings. Our on going obsession with war, hate and genocide is something aliens find primitive and barbaric.
It seems the aliens that are human in appearance are those who truly want to warn us about becoming a less violent hate filled society and do want to see us evolve into beings worthy of joining the other universal societies.
I am aware that other visitors to our planet really have no interest one way or the other about our evolution and simply take us to observe earthlings as they do other less evolved life forms they come across in this vast universe.
They do not interfere with our growth as beings nor do they care about how fast we advance of even if we survive. Those choices and challenges of growth are being left to us as the evolving creatures of earth. They do not care or haveinterest in our development.
Visitors to our planet do seem to acknowledge in their own way that we are viewed as violent self destroying animals that have only recently started to advance into the area of technology.I am sure it would be like our visiting a planet where they just discovered the wheel and the use of fire. If that seems too harsh a comparison think of finding a planet where the world is still without electric and dependent on horses and elephants for travel. I think that a fair comparison to the differences between mankind on earth and our visiting alien neighbors.
The fact of the matter is that being taken by those who view us with curiosity is for me a terrifying idea. Being viewed with the same attitude we view monkeys or lab rats is an extremely frightening event to endure. The reason I understand this is because I have known this fear and I have shared this feeling with others like me. It is a mortifying experience to be on the wrong end of the microscope.
It is something that changes your life and cannot be placed aside or forgotten. It also is a hard world to be in when those who have no idea about these things mock and ridicule you for talking about your encounters making them even crueler and harder to endure.
Every time I write about my own experiences I receive two types of emails. One is from those who have been enduring the same things and have lived through an abduction. Theother emails are from cruel nasty humans attacking me for writing the truth about these things. I am called names, insulted and laughed at.Each and every time I write about my experience with creatures we know, as aliens I am sent hate filled emails by people I have never met.
I imagine I make those who wish to live in fantasy angry and frighten those who do not want any of this to be true. It is sad but that this is the nature of humans. They quickly become unkind and vicious to those who do not tell them what they want to hear and filled with anger at those who talk of things they do not want to be real.
I will continue to write what I have seen and encountered. If I can go through that heart stopping fear and live to talk about it the least I can do is be a voice for all others like me. I know how difficult it is enduring an abduction and also what it is like to go through a second abuse by way of the reactions of your own kind.
I think it is best said that until you experience ‘THE FEAR ‘ that goes hand and hand with those who have had a close encounter with a being of unknown origin you can not understand the emotional life long horror that follows abductees through each and every day. That fear is why I write and why I will stand up for those who live daily and have encountered the road of being taken.
Be careful out there and always be fully aware of what you wish for. Some dreams do come true and those nightmares can last a lifetime.

I recently read your article entitled "The Fear" and would like to offer feedback. Firstly, i have never had an experience with an extraterrestial being myself, but would like to say that I do believe you have and respect what you are trying to tell people and enjoy/appreciate your articles. You really are able to look at the situation logically and have given me some good advice, because i myself have had the attitude in the past of wanting to try to contact them myself and i must say that i believe the reason people feel so compelled to do so is pure curiosity. I believe extraterrestrials exist in some form, but i have sometimes doubted myself and wanted to confirm their presence personally. Curiosity is the main reason i have thought about attempting forms of contact. "Curiosity killed the cat" is the only phrase that comes to mind right now. I got a minuscule taste of the fear you speak of recently when riding my bike through the woods when nightfall was approaching and tricking myself into thinking i was about to be abducted with an overactive imagination (i'm 17) due to another biker with several very strange lights covering his bicycle near where i had a real experience with a UFO by a lake. I realize it's a crude comparision, but it changed my view. When i thought it was actually happening and i couldn't turn back, couldn't escape, i realized that i really don't ever want to experience what others have no matter how much it proves to me, and i'll take their word, and the lack of control over the situation is exactly why it's so frightening, and just as in you're article, what you have written stays in the back of my head at all times. I find it sad that people contact you with such negative responses and dont appreciate what you are trying to say. Not everything that is true is easy to accept i suppose. The statement you made about how they have precise control over who they abduct and the somewhat human-like beings will chose to abduct someone if they feel it has purpose, really made sense to me. It makes sense that anything that would pick up the first animal it saw with a flashlight most likely wouldn't care about their well-being or treating them kindly, and would not benefit the animal in any way. Keep up the good work, please, and thank you. I hope people like myself whom appreciate your work make up for the ridicule you face.
